Sleepless
Monday, 24 March 2008 19:54
A piece for two dancers and two musicians, encompassing both energetic duets and melancholy moments of solitude. In a smoky after-hours bar, nothing remains constant except the stories of love lost and found, danced to the yearning tones of the milonga.
"In his solo section, Mr. Freundlich conveys beautifully the restless mood of pain and waiting. Tanja Kuisma dances throughout as if afraid to break something extremely fragile - a human relationship" -Jussi Tossavainen, Helsingin Sanomat, Helsinki, Finland, November 8th, 2005
