A work integrating elements of text and movement theatre, based on the poetry of celebrated Finnish poets Eino Leino and L. Onerva.

Set to the haunting, dreamlike music of Einojuhani Rautavaara and an atmospheric aural collage of birdsong, The Abyss and the Stars evokes the fleeting beauty of the northern summer and the various faces of enduring love.
